Show the Earth Some Tech Love & Geek Out

You can show the environment some love by some simple steps:

*Considering switching to solar energy: not only there are rebates out there for you to grab, a lot of companies are willing to do estimate to see how solar energy can benefit you

*Turn off the computer or any electronics and lights when they are not in use.

*Better yet, kill phantom power [when your electronics are plugged in, even if they are not on, they still suck energy] by using power strips.

*Consider switching to e-newsletter if you already haven’t done so: it not only save trees, it will also save you money on printing, buying paper and labor of licking stamps

*Don’t forget to recycle your electronics properly: A lot of electronics are actually very toxic to environment because they are made from heavy metals and plastic. When plastic breaks down, the poisons will leach into our eco-system and poisons water source. There are designated recycle facilities all around the countries now, so be responsible and recycle your electronic waste properly!
